Dr Laurie Goldsmith
Dr Laurie J. Goldsmith is Senior Research Fellow in the Division of Family Medicine at Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore, and holds Adjunct Professor positions at the University of Toronto & Simon Fraser University, Canada. She is a qualitative and mixed methods health services and health policy researcher who focuses on patient and provider experiences, the influence of health system structure on health care delivery, and patient and public involvement in research. She co-leads Health Experiences Singapore and is a Board Member of Health Experiences International, an association of qualitative and clinical researchers from 14 countries who conduct high quality research on patients’ journeys with health conditions and disseminate research findings on publicly accessible websites featuring video, audio, and written excerpts from narrative interviews with patients. She has a PhD in Health Policy from the University of North Carolina and a MSc in Health Research Methodology from McMaster University.
