Dr. Eugene Chua is a Family Physician Associate Consultant at NHG Polyclinics with a keen interest in primary care mental health. He has been involved in developing initiatives such as the ALERT and RECAP for adolescent mental health and an integrated postnatal depression screening programme, aiming to make mental health support more accessible in the community. Dr. Chua contributes to national efforts as co-chair of the Generalised Anxiety Disorder Expert Group for ACE Guidance and participates in various mental health workgroups. In education, he serves as the Assistant Director of the Primary Care Academy and Associate Programme Director for the Graduate Diploma in Family Medicine programme, while holding teaching roles at NUS and NTU medical schools.
