A/Prof How Choon How is a Family Physician and Chairman of the Division of Continuity Care at Changi General Hospital (CGH). He provides clinical care in CGH’s continuity clinics and at SingHealth Polyclinics.
He also serves on clinical committees with the Ministry of Health, SingHealth, SATA Commcare, and the Civil Aviation Medical Board. In his role as Director of the SingHealth Office of Regional Health (East Campus), he advances population health initiatives focused on care integration, care transitions, and innovative models of care. He had previously served as Director, SingHealth Polyclinics- Sengkang and Director, Primary Care, SingHealth Office of Regional Health (SORH).

A/Prof How is committed to nurturing the next generation of healthcare leaders from our medical schools to engaging students at the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD), junior colleges, and even MBA programmes—bringing real-world healthcare challenges and opportunities into the classroom to inspire transformation.

He has published extensively in peer reviewed journals, and his research impact has been recognised internationally; he was listed among Stanford University’s top 2% most cited scientists in both 2024 and 2025.
