Having served in senior leadership positions at the Ministry of Health and the Agency for Integrated Care, Dr Kok has spent much of her career spearheading efforts to bridge the gaps between hospital systems and community-based care and shaping Singapore’s primary and community care landscape. Her past contributions in the community sector ranged from developing eldercare support, community based Advanced Care Planning initiatives to driving national quality improvement programmes to improve diabetes care through patient activation. She is now a Snr Consultant with MOH Value, Safety and Performance Division and is a strong advocate for patient and family empowerment as the key to addressing the cost pressures facing healthcare today.
