Dr Predeebha d/o PN Kannan
Dr Predeebha Kannan serves as Deputy Director at Primary Care Academy (PCA), NHG Polyclinics, NHG Health. She obtained her MBBS from the National University of Singapore (NUS, 1988); a Masters of Medicine (Public Health) from NUS, 1996; a Postgraduate Diploma in Higher Education(PGDHE)NIE/NTU, 2006 and Masters in Health Professional’s Education(MHPE), Maastricht, 2016. Her educational Masters’ thesis focused on interprofessional collaborative practice in an Asian primary care setting. Dr Predeebha has over 30 years of experience in healthcare (in clinical practice, then administrative, policy and regulatory roles at MOH), before assuming her current educational role at NHG Polyclinics. Her scholarly activities include oral, poster presentations and facilitating at workshops conducted at international conferences such as the Asia Pacific Medical Education Conference (2020, 2023), WONCA 2023 in Sydney, and presentation at the Elsevier 9th International Nurse-Education Conference (2024). Besides her teaching role at PCA, she has held educational coach and faculty appointments, for the MHPE-S programme, under the Academy of Medicine (2020 to 2023). Her current appointments are, as a teaching associate for a TBL module in LKC Medicine (July 2025–June 2028) and an associate faculty for the PSY 475 Health and Wellness Coaching module, at the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS).
