Dr Kumar is a family physician who has been in private general practice for more than 35 years. He has a Master’s degree in Family Medicine and is also a fellow of the College of Family Physicians Singapore (CFPS).

He is currently serving on the CFPS council as the Vice President and is also a member of the Singapore Medical Council.

Dr Kumar has a wealth of experience in family medicine and is actively involved in medical education. He is a trainer in both undergraduate and post graduate programmes and is a past programme director of the CFPS master’s programme.
