Dr Sze Kai Ping
Dr Sze Kai Ping is Deputy Head at NHG Khatib Polyclinic and serves as Associate Programme Director of the MMed (Family Medicine) programme at the College of Family Physicians Singapore. He is actively involved in clinical leadership, postgraduate and undergraduate medical education, quality improvement, medical ethics and primary care research.
Dr Sze has a strong interest in the identity, values, and future development of Family Medicine. He is involved in WONCA’s global and Asia Pacific regional work on Family Medicine core values, and his scholarship includes work examining how core values can remain relevant across changing healthcare systems and practice contexts. His broader professional interests include integrated primary care, healthy ageing and falls prevention, community heart failure, social prescribing, digital health, and innovation and artificial intelligence in medical education.
Through his clinical, educational, and academic roles, Dr Sze is committed to advancing person-centred, relationship-based, and values-driven Family Medicine, and to supporting the development of future generations of family physicians in Singapore and the region.
