Founder and Director,
Hallmark Health

Dr Tan E-Ching

Dr Tan E-Ching is the founding Director of Hallmark Health, a mental health practice that specialises in counselling, coaching and conducting youth and adult training programmes focusing on Emotional Intelligence, Mindfulness, Resilience and Holistic Wellbeing.

Dr Tan graduated from the National University of Singapore Medical Faculty in 1994 and has obtained the Graduate Diploma in Mental Health (NUS). She is also trained in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Mindfulness Self-Compassion (MSC). Dr Tan is a leader and facilitator in the Singapore Youth Mental Wellbeing initiative and has been invited to give talks and conduct programmes in organisations, schools and institutions of higher learning. She also conducts pro bono workshops for at-risk youths from disadvantaged backgrounds in various children’s Homes and charity organisations.

Dr Tan is the Chairperson of Melrose Care Committee, Children’s Aid Society, a philanthropic organisation supporting disadvantaged children and families. In addition, Dr Tan is the Honorary Mental Health Advisor to Shaw Heritage Arts and Wellbeing, a non-profit organisation dedicated to promoting mental wellbeing through the arts and heritage.
