Abstract

The past pandemics underscored the essential yet challenging role of Primary Care as Singapore's resilient frontline. This symposium critically examines lessons learned from past health crises to unify strategic approaches across the entire primary care ecosystem.
Discussions will analyze key lessons across public health institutions, polyclinics, and private General Practitioners to enhance surveillance, ensure workforce mental well-being and continuity, optimize capacity for mass vaccination and testing, and maintain essential care during a crisis. By synthesizing best practices and identifying future strategies derived from both sectors, this session aims to forge a single, resilient primary care approach to effectively absorb future shocks and safeguard community health.
